The Fifth International Conference of the South Asian Society of  Criminology  and Victimology (SASCV) will be conducted during 27 - 28, January, 2023 at RV University, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (HYBRID - OFFLINE AND ONLINE).

The SASCV 2023 Conference is organized by the South Asian Society of Criminology and Victimology (SASCV) in collaboration with RV University, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (Private University established in Karnataka State through Act No.34 of 2019 passed by the Karnataka Legislature) and International Institute of Crime and Security Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (World’s 2nd Institute of Excellence in Crime Science, a Not-for-Profit Academic Institute and an Independent Think Tank) established by Lombroso Education and Services (OPC) Pvt Ltd and sponsored by Appa Education and Research Foundation (AERF).

South Asian Society of Criminology and Victimology (SASCV) is an International registered association (Registered Academic Society (NGO), Register No: 83/2009 under Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 founded by Professor K. Jaishankar in 2009 to serve as an international impartial, non-political and non-profit making association whose purpose is to promote Criminology and Victimology in countries such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Pakistan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

  • Publication of Conference Proceedings with ISBN: All Papers (Extended Abstracts / Mini Papers) that are selected for conference will be published in the Conference Proceedings with an ISBN and will be provided in the Conference Kit.

  • For publication of revised papers with ISBN/ISSN: After the Conference, an expert committee will select quality papers based on the extended abstracts and presentation of the authors at the conference and revised papers (not exceeding 8000 words) will be invited from the selected authors, (Sufficient time would be provided to write) and will be published in an edited book volume to be published by a reputed publisher such as Routledge. The SASCV 2013 Conference Volume (top 20 selected papers) was published by CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group as "Interpersonal Criminology: Revisiting Interpersonal Crimes and Victimization". The SASCV 2011 Conference Volume (top 20 selected papers) was published by CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group as "Global Criminology: Crime and Victimization in the Globalized Era".
